Ffear Fforest is back in Betws-y-Coed this Halloween 2023!

BRACE YOURSELF! HERE'S WHAT TO EXPECT...

Ffear Fforest is North Wales’ favourite Halloween spook-fest, and for very good reason! The peaceful woodland by day is transforming into an unnerving circus-themed extravaganza by night. Expect to come face to face with a hoard of undead clowns, ready to terrorize and torment you the second you enter the Ffear Fforest threshold, until the second you manage to escape. Don’t forget to check your back seats before you set off…

If that isn’t enough to send jitters down your spine, you’ll also get the rare opportunity to conquer our frightful adventures by night. Unlike your ordinary Halloween event, Ffear Fforest takes things a step further, by giving our world-class adventures a twisted makeover and offering brave adventurers the chance to put their courage to the ultimate test.

The frightening fun doesn’t stop there! We’ll also be bringing an epic paintballing experience to the depths of the woods, brand-new to 2023. Go head-to-head against your friends and family, but don’t let those menacing clowns put you off as you shoot and aim at the targets. Plus, we’ll be serving up p

'I went to Zip World's Ffear Fforest and found myself being stalked and bruised'

OK, let’s start by getting the pratfall out the way. The one the guy from Zip World said was “epic” and the “best ever”. So we stood there, after our terrifying 100ft drop into a black void of nothingness, a weird sense of pride numbing the pain.

We were guests of Zip World at its Ffear Fforest attraction in Betws-y-Coed, Conwy. North Wales’ “ultimate scare-fest” and its “horde of demonic clowns” was back for its fifth year and the feigned insouciance of two older citizens was about to be put to the test. We’ll come to the clowns later.

Visitors get a chance to ride the Fforest’s popular coaster and navigate colour-changing treetop nets. There’s also the option to pay extra to try out the site’s Nightfall and Screamride rides. New this year is Tree Horrors, a high-ropes obstacle course with balance beams and zip lines.
