Daughter of no worlds is it spicy
The War of Lost Hearts by Carissa Broadbent is a trilogy which has been compared to
Throne of Glass
by Sarah J. Maas. Which is a series I absolutely loved, so I was a little nervous to read this series. Because either I was going to lose interest if it was too similar to
Throne of Glass
or would spend too much time comparing the two instead of enjoying it. But I thoroughly enjoyed the Nightborn Duet from Carissa Broadbent, so I decided to finally give this series as try. Instead of doing a review for each book I’m going to combine them in one. I’ll try to avoid sharing too many spoilers, but I will be discussing the full series.
These books are considered Epic Fantasy. And unlike
Throne of Glass
which was Young Adult, this series is New Adult so there is more ‘spice’ in the romantic subplot.
Since I have a feeling this review is going to get hella long, I’m going to include a Table of Contents in case you want to see a specific part. I will also be doing a comparison to
Throne of Glass
in the places where the plot or backstory line up.

Honest Book Review: Daughter of No Worlds
“Daughter of No Worlds” by Carissa Broadbent is a thrilling epic romantic fantasy of a woman who was bound by slavery and is now defeating the odds through her magical abilities. If you like Sarah J Maas books such as A Court of Silver Flame, this is the book I highly recommend to you.
This is a Bookstagram recommendation and as usual, I am so glad to be a part of this community to discover books I have never heard of before. This was another book I devoured on my vacation and I loved this book with a vengeance.
*heading to the bookstore to get the next two books* here is my money.
This book is so good because there is world-building, but not info-dump world-building where your mind is about to explode because of the amount of detail.
The main character Tisaanah, goes through some hardship. She is once a slave and barely escapes for her life. She somehow lands in the life of Max who teaches her the laugnage and how to use her magic. Max is the heartthrob in this story. Also has a broody past and heart of gold.
Tisaanah driven by wanting to set her fellow slaves free. She can also come across also conceded in her personality. Pride
Review: Daughter of No Worlds by Carissa Broadbent
Daughter of No Worlds
could be considered a fantasy romance or a romantic fantasy, depending on who’s describing it. The line between these two subgenres is a nebulous one, and in truth it’s more of a continuum. They say if you can take out the fantasy and you still have a love story it’s fantasy romance, and if you can remove the romance and still have a fantasy story it’s romantic fantasy. There are rare books that perfectly straddle the line between these two genres, where the fantasy and the romance are two halves of one seamless whole, interdependent, almost symbiotic.
Daughter of No Worlds
by Carissa Broadbent is just such a book, a flawless symphony of immersive fantasy and enthralling romance, tied together by prose that is by turns gorgeous and profound. It easily cracks my top 10 books I have ever read, in any genre, and I urge you to pick it up and begin reading it today.
The first thing that drew my attention was the prose. Broadbent’s writing shows passion, insight, and fine attention to detail. I stopped highlighting passages in the book because I found myself highlighting entire paragraphs on page aft
