The Breaker of Worlds is not tied to any specific quest, though it does entail a good reward: the rare resource Orichalcum. First noted as “The Breaker of Worlds” on the Hunt Board, it will later have its name updated to Atlas after facing or defeating it. Here’s how to find it, and take it down for its rewards.

The Hunt Board doesn’t give many details about Atlas’ location, aside from it being in a Rosarian ruin. To find the Breaker of Worlds, you’ll want to head towards Cressida, a town east of Martha’s Rest and past the Greensheaves region. You’ll find Atlas hiding out in an ar

The Atlas is a powerful Fallen Remnant enemy, and is the first S-Rank hunt that unlocks in FF16.
You’ll first see this crop up on the Hunts board after obtaining the Desert Rose during the main quest - but you might not be able to beat this powerful Level 45 beast right away, depending on your combat skills.
To test your skills, you’ll have to find the Atlas Hunt Location, however - as in the game’s menus it’s marked with a ???.
The hunt board reads:
“Urgent notice to all Cursebreakers: due to the discovery of a fallen giant in the Rosarian ruins we have lately been investigating, all work in the region is to be halted with immediate effect, and all members are to proceed no further than the village gate, lest the echo should be awakened by our presence. The Breaker of Worlds Hunt Guide - Final Fantasy 16
As we briefly mentioned in a previous hunt guide (Dozmare), Final Fantasy 16 isn’t always forthcoming about information. Sometimes a hunt, especially the higher ranking marks, wants you to read between the lines a little and do some actual hunting. One such hunt is The Breaker of Worlds, which is later revealed to be Atlas. This is one of Final Fantasy 16’s S-Rank hunts, and is crucial to crafting the Gotterdammerung weapon. Here’s what you need to know.
The only hint you get for the Breaker of Worlds hunt is that “due to the discovery of a Fallen giant in the Rosarian Ruins,” all work in the area has been put on hold. And if you recall, Rosaria has little bits and pieces of ruins all over it. So if you want to skip the exploration and just have the location spelled out for you, we got you.

The Breaker of Worlds, Atlas Location
The Atlas is a powerful enemy and is the first S-Rank hunt that unlocks in FF16. Atlas is a Level 40 giant with a massive attack range.
ATLAS
is actually found in the eastern point of Cressida, in Rosaria. It is a circular arena surrounded by Fallen ruins. That implies the best way to get to the conflict is to head east of Martha’s Ride.
Combat Tips for Atlas:
Wait until you’re higher level and better equipped to take on Atlas.
Atlas hits hard with delayed attacks.
Consider using Titanic Block if dodging is challenging. Beware of energy-based moves breaking through your block.
Concentrate and play defensively to learn Atlas’ attack patterns.
Take advantage of slower attacks to incorporate Eikonic strikes into your combos.
When Atlas is below half health, it swings a massive energy sword. A retreat may not be feasible, so time your dodge perfectly as the swing connects.
