According to the Marketing guidelines and HPD you can't be denied for a bankruptcy over 2 years. When were you discharged?

My experience is a bit different than most of you guys...
I actually applied through HDC (NYC housing development corporation) and I'm a bit confused and nervous. Right now I'm somewhere in the middle of the process cause I have an "appointment" in a few days. So basically I requested an application and applied last year. Then I got a call and not a letter like everyone else, requesting documents to prove my eligibility. So I did that and they called me again about 2 weeks after submitting my documents for an "appointment". That is the word they used not "interview". They said I'm pre-qualified and asked me to come in to fill out additional documents and along with papers to be submitted to HDC and to pay a credit check fee
